Lava launches budget Iris Atom 2 at Rs.4,949

first_imgHome grown company Lava on Tuesday launched its new budget phone, the Iris Atom 2 at Rs.4,949. The Iris Atom 2 will be available in two colours, white and black across all national retail stores, multi-brand outlets and online platforms.The Lava Iris Atom 2 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB RAM and 8GB RAM, expandable up to 32GB via microSD. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, and is upgradable to Android 5.1 Lollipop.It sports a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The phone is backed by a 1,750mAh battery.Lava recently launched the Pixel V1 Android One smartphone in India Rs.11,350. The Pixel V1 has been developed in collaboration with Google.The Pixel V1 has a 5.5-inch HD 720p display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory (expandable).It comes with a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. The 3G phone is backed by a 2,560mah battery.The Android One phone runs stock Android 5.1 lollipop out-of-the-box.Lava also launched the budget Iris X1 Selfie smartphone in India recently at a price of Rs.6,777.
