Email me at [email protected] Tumblr Local NewsNewsWatchTop Stories New Neighborhood Watch Program in White Sulphur Springs By Tyler BarkerMay 14, 2018, 22:05 pm 442 0 Twitter WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (WOAY) – The White Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Watch has started meeting monthly in an effort to regain a sense of community and aid the local police in reducing criminal activity within city limits.Patrolman Shannon Morris of the White Sulphur Springs Police Department has such a passion for the community and stopping crime he initiated a local Neighborhood Watch program for the city at the beginning of 2018.The White Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Watch is led by Morris, along with Community Coordinators, Candi and Lindsey Wolford. The program has been meeting monthly to discuss citizen’s concerns and ways to address those concerns.New members are welcome as it is important to have a collaborative, community approach to safety in the Spa City. There is an application to join the White Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Watch which includes a background check at no cost to the applicant; applicants cannot have a felony conviction. Applications can be obtained at the White Sulphur Springs Police Department and once completed need to be returned to the police department.Meetings are held monthly at White Sulphur Springs City Hall.
