first_imgJIMMY’S BUILDING TUNNELS: The newest generation of the fabled Donegal Tunnel Tigers have completed their last drive as part of a massive £15 billion pound Crossrail Project. They broke through into Farringdon Station yesterday which signals the end of the monster project. The Donegal Tunnel Tigers have been central to the completion of one of the biggest construction projects ever undertaken in the city.A fortnight ago we covered a story on a group of men from The Rosses who had been integral to the completion of the project and who have been driving force behind it from day one.With many of the men from The Rosses having worked on the project for THREE years!The latest crew of Donegal Tunnel Tigers that made the breakthrough at Farringdon station, Sean Rooney, Neil Ferry, Hugh Curran, Matthew Frys, Padraig Anthony Ferry and Christopher McFadden are all pictured above after the completing the job with the Donegal flag flying proudly.
